Short Bio

Larry Brownstein has exhibited widely and has published several monographs including Los Angeles, Where Anything is Possible; Visions of Venice; and Hollywood Boulevard, Where Everyone’s a Star. He was one of the principal photographers of the books America the Beautiful; California; and Only in Los Angeles.

He frequently contributes to magazines and was formerly a contributing editor of Rangefinder magazine. His thousands of photo credits include many magazines, as well as books, calendars, greeting cards, billboards, etc. He has exhibited widely in galleries across the United States.

He is represented by Getty Images and Alamy. He has won photo contests, including an award in the Nikon Photo Contest.
